Now when I speak of SEO and advertising it can be as simple as adding some new content every few days or telling some friends about your site. Or as difficult and expensive as having someone completly optimize your website for search engines and purchasing PPC ads off of Google or Yahoo.

Finding Serial Ports on Linux

If you have bought a computer in the last couple of years then most likely it did not come with any COM ports on it. But you can purchase these really nice USB to serial connections that work great. Sometime however when you plug one into a linux computer it will pick an random unused COM port and you don’t know which one. I personally use PuTTY and I need to know the exact port in order for the serial connection to work.

Most of use know the NET USE command to map a printer but did you notice that it does not display in Printers and Faxes after you have used the NET USE command. It has been mapped and you can print to LPTx and have it print out but the printer is not listed for Windows use.
