Keyword Strategy for SEO

A good keyword strategy should be one of your first if not your first part to a good SEO plan. Defining what keywords you want to target is very crucial and should never be skipped. If you skip defining what keywords you want to target then you are just going to be shooting in the dark and have no real direction which will give you very low traffic or traffic that is not your target audience.

Choosing a good domain name for SEO

A lot of people feel that choosing a good domain name is easy to do, simply choose your business name as the web site URL. This option is most of the time true and for most brick and mortor businesses the best option. But unless you business name is rich in the keywords your target customers are looking for you are not likly going to rank very easily on the search engines. Most of the time I suggest someone looking to rank high in search engines to use a keyword rich domain name. But there are a few things you need to consider which I will discuss in this article.

Why every web site needs SEO

Every site needs some form of SEO or advertising or else the web site is absolutly useless because no one will see it there. Now when I speak of SEO and advertising it can be as simple as adding some new content every few days or telling some friends about your site. Or as difficult and expensive as having someone completly optimize your website for search engines and purchasing PPC ads off of Google or Yahoo.
